OTTAWA – This morning at their first meeting of the new parliamentary session, all 36 federal Conservative Members of Parliament representing Ontario constituencies met and elected MP Scot Davidson as their Chair for the 43rd Canadian Parliament.

“It’s a real honour to have been chosen by my colleagues for this important role,” said Davidson, “The Ontario Conservative Caucus have a critical task ahead as we work to ensure that the voices of Ontario residents are heard and addressed, and their interests represented in the House of Commons – I can’t wait to get started.”

As Ontario Conservative Caucus Chair, MP Scot Davidson will be the liaison between Ontario Conservative MPs and the Conservative Opposition Leadership Team in the House of Commons, and will be responsible for the organization of regular caucus meetings, stakeholder events, and community outreach opportunities across the province.
