TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Nottawasaga Detachment, are hoping to identify the male and female, who witnessed the robbery at a local convenience store early Sunday morning.
OPP were notified of the robbery in progress at a local convenience store at approximately 4:06 a.m., on Sunday, February 28, 2016.
During the investigation, it was determined that a male and female witnessed this event and followed the perpetrator when he left the store.
The lone male suspect is described as being five foot nine to six feet, mid 20s, wearing all black clothing, no other identifying information has been determined at this point.
The suspect escaped with a small amount of cash.
Officers at the scene were assisted by the Regional Canine Unit, Emergency Response Unit, and the Street Crime Unit.
Investigation continues by the Nottawasga Detachment Crime Unit.
