Voting in Ward 3 byelection opens Thursday

Eligible voters can cast their ballots online or by phone until Feb. 24

Voting for the Ward 3 byelection opens tomorrow (Feb. 13) at 10 a.m. Eligible Ward 3 voters are invited to vote online or by phone until Feb. 24 at 8 p.m.

All Ward 3 residences should have received a voter information letter in the mail. Each letter contains an individual voter pin number and instructions for voting. Ward 3 residents who have not received the letter in the mail, should call 705-728-8683 (VOTE) or email [email protected].

Who can vote?
You can vote in the City of Barrie ward three byelection if you are:
    •    A resident of ward three in the City of Barrie or a non-resident owner or tenant of land in Ward 3 in the City of Barrie, or their spouse; AND
    •    A Canadian citizen; AND
    •    At least 18 years of age; AND
    •    Not prohibited from voting by any law

City Hall, 70 Collier St.
East Bayfield Community Centre, 80 Livingstone St. E.
    •    Thursday, Feb. 13 and Friday, Feb. 14 - 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
    •    Tuesday, Feb. 18 to Friday, Feb. 21 - 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
    •    Tuesday, Feb. 18 - 4–9 p.m.
    •    Thursday, Feb. 20 - 4–9 p.m.
    •    Saturday, Feb. 22 - 9 a.m.–5p.m.
    •    Monday, Feb. 24 - 10 a.m.–8 p.m.
