Locomotive lovers young and old flocked to the annual Model Train Show hosted by the Barrie Allandale Railway Modelers club at Bradford Greenhouses on County Road 90 in Springwater, just outside Barrie, on Saturday.

Boasted as the largest train show in Ontario, dozens of vendors and model train displays are on hand for the serious collector as well as newbies to the century-old hobby.

Seasoned collectors have set up displays showing off modern trains from the modern era all the way back to the classic steam locomotives of the 19th century.

The show continues Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
