What’s better than bingo? Boo Bingo, of course!
The annual Halloween-themed bingo extravaganza at Lakeside Retirement residence in Alcona.
On Oct. 25, residents of the retirement home and their guests donned costumes, and settled in for an evening of bingo, refreshments and prizes.
Every month, Lakeside Retirement hosts a special event for its residents, and invites the community to RSVP and join in. From the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party to Boo Bingo, the events are always fun – and creative, as staff get into the spirit of the day.
Boo Bingo isn’t the only Halloween-themed event coming up at the residence. On Oct. 29, residents will be preparing Treat Bags for some very special visitors – the kids from neighbouring Simcoe Day Care, who will be dropping by to show off their costumes on Halloween.
And in the evening on Oct. 31, residents are invited to a Halloween Social, with entertainment by Paul Michael.
