Two Innisfil youths arrested in vandalism probe of 30 incidents

INNISFIL - On Tuesday, June 4, 2019 residents of the Ireton Street, Glen Cedar Crescent and McKee Court in Innisfil awoke to find that many of their family vehicles had been spray-painted by unknown vandals overnight.

The South Simcoe Police Service responded and opened a criminal investigation, identifying 30 incidents and taking 21 mischief reports.

Evidence was collected at each scene. In the following days, the investigating officers were successful in identifying the persons responsible for this spree of vandalism.

Two Innisfil youths were arrested and are now facing multiple criminal charges. The South Simcoe Police are sincerely grateful to those who spoke out against the senseless behavior and worked with our officers to protect their community.
