TINY TOWNSHIP – On March 27, 2016 at 6:39 p.m. a member of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a black Honda Civic for speeding on County Road 6 in Tiny Township, ON.

The driver had been consuming alcohol and was given a roadside test which resulted in a “fail”.

He was arrested and taken to the Southern Georgian Bay OPP detachment for further tests.

As a result of the tests, the male driver, Richard Marco Gosselin (age 34) of Tiny Township, ON is charged with:

  • Driving While Ability Impaired contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

  • Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood contrary to the criminal Code of Canada

He was also served a 90 day Automatic Driver’s Licence Suspension and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on April 7, 2016 in Midland, ON.
