A number of services are affected by holiday weekends.

The following City services will be affected on Monday, October 12, 2015:

Barrie Transit

There will no Barrie Transit Service on Thanksgiving Monday, October 12, 2015. (barrie.ca/TransitNotices)

Curbside Collection

There will be no garbage, organics, recycling and yard waste collection on Monday, October 12, 2015 in Barrie. Collection during the week of this holiday will occur one day later for the remainder of the week. The Landfill Site is closed regularly every Sunday and Monday. Materials must be curbside by 7 a.m. on your collection day. (barrie.ca/CurbsideCollection)

Recreation Centres

All City Recreation Facilities will be open on Monday, October 12, 2015 as per regular operating hours. All registered programs are cancelled; however, drop in programs will be operating as per the regular drop in schedule found on barrie.ca/dropins.

Parking

Downtown parking (on-street and lots) is free on Monday, October 12, 2015. (barrie.ca/DowntownParking)

Waterfront parking is enforced 24/7/365; at specific waterfront areas, residents must display their permits to obtain free parking and visitors are required to pay $3 per hour (daily maximum of $15). (barrie.ca/WaterfrontParking)

City Hall

Barrie City Hall will be closed on Monday, October 12, 2015.
