A section of Mapleview Road East in Barrie’s south end was closed following a multi-vehicle collision Friday afternoon.
Barrie police were called to the crash, which took place between Welham Road and Bayview Drive, around 4 p.m.
A spokesperson for the department told BarrieToday injuries appeared to be minor.
Police had one person in custody, suspected of impaired driving.
The traffic unit was still on the scene around 6 p.m., but the road was expected to be reopened shortly after.
