TOWNSHIP OF SPRINGWATER

Members of the 2022-2026 Springwater Township council will be officially sworn into office by the Honourable Jim Crawford during an inauguration ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 6:30 p.m.
As part of the inaugural meeting, council-elect will take their oaths of office and mayor-elect Jennifer Coughlin will make her inaugural address.
The meeting will take place in the council chambers at the township administration centre and will be live-streamed on the township’s website at www.springwater.ca/Live.
The event is open to community members, though seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The newly elected Springwater council members include:
Mayor
Jennifer Coughlin
Deputy mayor
George Cabral
Ward councillors
Ward 1 — Matt Garwood
Ward 2 — Danielle Alexander
Ward 3 — Brad Thompson
Ward 4 — Anita Moore
Ward 5 — Phil Fisher
Council will hold their first regular meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 6:30 p.m. Mayor-elect Coughlin and deputy mayor-elect Cabral will officially be sworn into county council on Dec. 13, 2022.
