Doughnation Day at COBS Bread in the city's south end recently raised $2,655 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Barrie and District.

Two dollars from the sale of every six-pack of hot cross buns is donated to the local charity.

The money raised by the Big Bay Point Road business will go toward vital mentoring programs for young people in the Barrie and area.

In addition to fundraisers like this, COBS always supports the community through its end-of-day giving program, which helps via various local partnerships. It provides bread to those who need it and also reduces food waste.
