One of the three people charged in an Orillia drug bust back in February had her case completed recently, and, as a result, will spend six months behind bars.

On Feb. 7, Orillia and Barrie Community Street Crime Units, Orillia OPP and Rama Police Service conducted an investigation at the Econo Lodge on Memorial Avenue in Orillia, which led to the arrests.

Tiffani Wray, 20, of Brampton was charged with possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl, possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and breach of recognizance in relation to the incident.

She was recently given a conditional sentence of six months imprisonment on those charges.

Janilyn Batac, 30, of Milton and Jaiyden Jones, 22, of Toronto have both been charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana and possession of both substances for the purpose of trafficking as a result of the incident. Batac was also charged again in Orillia on Oct. 12 with four new counts of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

During the original investigation police seized cocaine, heroin, marijuana, methamphetamine, fentanyl, a crossbow and paraphernalia associated with trafficking.

Batac and Jones will both be back in court later this month
