Seniors’ Social series to be launched at Simcoe County Museum

The Friends of Simcoe County Museum welcome seniors from across the County to a new monthly Seniors’ Social series taking place on the first Wednesday afternoon of each month.

The next session occurs on Wednesday, Dec. 5, where guests will be charmed by a Magic Lantern Show. This Christmas-themed show provides a delightful reminder of how families would have been entertained in days of old.

Seniors’ Social events start at 2 p.m., and include treats with tea or coffee. Admission is $6 per person, with proceeds supporting Simcoe County Museum initiatives. Groups of five or more are asked to register in advance.
