A well-travelled section of Essa Road in Barrie will be closed for three days in early May.
G.E. Binnie Haulage and Excavation and its sub-contractors, operating on behalf of the city, will be implementing a full road closure on Essa Road between Tiffin and Gowan streets from May 1 to 3.
This work is expected to happen between 7 a.m. on May 1 and 5 p.m. on May 3.
The closure is associated with the city's Allandale Transit Mobility Hub project.
Emergency services will have access to respond within the closure, but will not be permitted to travel through it.
Detour route in effect will be Tiffin Street to Innisfil Street.
