Second World War veteran Fred Arsenault is turning 100 years old on March 6 and only has one wish: to receive 100 birthday cards in the mail. 

Arsenault is part of the Royal Canadian Legion and they are helping spread the word about the birthday request.

The birthday wish has already received a lot of media attention, with Tweets from both Premier Doug Ford and Toronto's mayor John Tory, showing their support.
