The case against a Quebec man accused of sexually assaulting Kassidi Coyle has been remanded to Mar. 30.

The 21-year-old Barrie woman took her own life in November, four months after she was allegedly the victim of a sexual assault.

A man was charged last Canada Day after Coyle told police she had been attacked in bed while sleeping over at a friend's house.

The publication ban on Kassidi's identity was lifted in January at her mother's request out of concern the case would not proceed due to her daughter's death.

The accused was not in court for today's adjournment.
