Redline hosting hip-hop show this weekend

Performers at Saturday night's Lonely Fest include CousinFloyd, Rodda, Epidemic, and Mac Johnson

Get some suds and songs into you this weekend at Redline Brewhouse in south-end Barrie.

Presented by Lonely Boyz Management, Lonely Fest is a concert featuring several local independent artists at the Bayview Drive brewery on Saturday, Oct. 8. The event, sponsored by Liquid Chrome will feature hip-hop acts including CousinFloyd, Rodda, Epidemic, and Mac Johnson.

Born and raised in Huntsville, CousinFloyd is an international recording and touring artist who boasts a variety of different talents ranging from photography, videography, producing beats, recording artists and bands, song writing and editing. Since launching his music career, CousinFloyd toured around Canada and the United States, and has even garnered some success overseas. 

Currently living in Barrie but originally hailing from Orillia,  recording and touring artist Rodda will also hit the stage Saturday night. 

Rodda has featured music all over the world including a feature in a music video titled IHateEverything featured on SevenHipHop and has opened for multiple international artists including Riff Raff, Merkules and Madchild.

He has racked up more than 150,000 views on YouTube and over 200,000 streams on Spotify and continues to grow. He’s toured all over Canada and the United States and headlined multiple shows including the #LonelyBoyz lemur fest in Cleveland and will be headlining the LonelyFest this weekend alongside all the #LonelyBoyz members.

Doors open at 9 p.m. and tickets are $5 tickets at the door.
