Simcoe County Student Transportation Consortium has announced this morning that all school vehicles in all zones are cancelled. Cancellations are due to current poor road and visibility conditions and the forecast for poor conditions to continue throughout the day.
Cancelled zones are as follows:
North - Elmvale, Midland, Penetanguishene, and Orillia
South - Alliston, Beeton, Bradford, Cookstown, and Tottenham
Central - Barrie, Innisfil, and Angus
West - Collingwood, Stayner, and Wasaga Beach
Simcoe County District School Board schools remain open for student learning and the Learn@Home program is running as scheduled. Students who cannot attend in-person may access learning material on their digital platform.
Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board schools are closed, but students will continue learning remotely.
