Southern Georgian Bay OPP investigate theft of purse
PENETANGUISHENE – On December 21, 2015 at 2:00p.m a member of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received information regarding the theft of purse from a store at Village Square mall in the Town of Penetanguishene.
A volunteer was working at the Garage Sale Store at the mall when her purse was stolen from a chair around 12:30 p.m.
The purse has since been located in the men’s washroom at the mall but cash and personal medication is still missing.
The investigation is continuing and video surveillance has been provided.
The woman in the photograph is a person of interest and police are looking to speak with her regarding the incident.
