The Barrie Police has recently received video surveillance from Mac’s Convenience located at 477 Grove Street, in the City of Barrie, and are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect wanted for theft.
On Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016 at approximately 3:40 a.m. a male and female entered the Mac’s Convenience store together. The female walked directly to the front counter to make a purchase, while the male began selecting several items throughout the store.
As a result of becoming distracted, the store clerk did not observe the male leaving the store with numerous unpaid items.
The investigation is continuing.
The suspect is described as;
- Male, white (18-25 yrs.)
- Medium build, 5’10”
- Short brown hair
- Wearing a grey baseball hat, black jacket, dark pants, gloves and white shoes.
