On Friday, April 22, 2016 just after 5:30 p.m., a woman entered Zehrs, located at 201 Cundles Road, East, in the City of Barrie.
The suspect was observed selecting several cosmetic products and placing them into her purse.
She then proceeded to the check-out and paid for several other items she had selected prior, although made no attempt to pay for the cosmetics she had concealed in her purse.
When exiting the store she was stopped by loss prevention, but refused to cooperate and fled on foot. The investigation is ongoing.
The suspect is described as:
- Female, white
- Brown curly hair – short
- 6’0, thin build
- Wearing a black cardigan, neon coloured tank top, black pants and brown purse.
