On Monday December 7, 2015 Barrie Police Service located a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt that had been stolen from LA Fitness at 149 Live Eight Way, in the City of Barrie.
A 36 year old Barrie female was located in the vehicle and was successfully arrested for possession of stolen property.
Police located various bags of a controlled substance and the charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking was added.
The female was also the suspect for a previous break and enter into a residence where a vehicle and wallet were stolen.
Police were able to identify the female through surveillance of used debit and credit cards from the stolen wallet.
Subsequently, the charges of break and enter, theft, and use stolen credit cards were added.
The female was held at the Barrie Police Service for a bail hearing on Tuesday.
