Tuesday, April 5 update

On Monday, April 4, 2016, the Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P) - Chatsworth Detachment located and arrested 34-year-old Brandy Wilson, from Dundalk, ON, upon receiving numerous tips on her whereabouts.

The 34-year-old female will remain in the custody of the Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P) as she is currently wanted on several outstanding charges in their jurisdiction.

The female also faces charges with Barrie Police for her involvement in the theft and assault that took place at Rexall Pharmacy located at 567 Essa Road, in the City of Barrie, on Monday, March 28, 2016.

On Monday, March, 28, 2016 shortly after 5 p.m., police responded to the Rexall Pharmacy located at 567 Essa Road, in the City of Barrie, in regards to a theft which led to an assault.

The female suspect was observed selecting merchandise throughout the pharmacy and concealing the items into a bag she had been carrying.

Upon exiting the pharmacy security alarms were activated and a store employee stopped the suspect outside, which at that point quickly turned into a physical altercation. 

The suspect punched the employee several times in the face and fled the area on foot, leaving $500 of stolen merchandise behind.

The suspect was last seen running west bound on Coughlin Road.

The store employee received minor injuries. The investigation is ongoing and police are looking to identify the female suspect.

 The suspect is described as;

  • Female, white
  • Piercing on right cheek
  • 5’5”-5’7”, thin build
  • 150-160 lbs.
  • Long black hair tied up with a scarf
  • Wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, camouflage vest and blue jeans.
