BRADFORD - On Sunday, March 6, 2016, around 2:45 p.m., a pedestrian walking on Holland Street West was struck and dragged by a pick up truck at the intersection with Melbourne Drive.

The man grabbed onto the truck and held on while witnesses were finally able to get the driver's attention and stop the vehicle.

The victim was dragged almost 500 m, extricated by Bradford Fire and Simcoe County Paramedics, and taken to hospital where he was treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Collision reconstructionists from the South Simcoe Police Traffic & Marine Unit were called in to investigate.
