OPP have posted a $50,000 reward in the disappearance of Kelly Coleman.

The OPP are offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for Kelly Coleman's disappearance.

"It just shows the continued efforts to determine the whereabouts of Kelly," said OPP Sgt. Peter Leon. "It also reminds the public there are significant options that exist to help including calling Crime Stoppers and the OPP. If the information leads to an arrest and conviction there is now a $50,000 reward."

The posting of the reward comes on the heels of a public and intensified effort to find the 37-year-old Coleman.

Officers spent nearly all of December searching an 18-acre property west of Barrie for clues in her disappearance.

The OPP used dog teams, the Emergency Response Team and heavy equipment to search the property on Towney Street in Nottawa where Coleman was living when she vanished.

Police have said the Nottawa woman was last seen in Barrie in August 2011.

The reward poster states that OPP investigators believe Coleman disappeared from her residence in Nottawa and may have unknown associates in the Barrie and Clearview Township areas.

OPP have said the case is classified as suspicious.

Last fall, investigators erected a billboard profiling Coleman's disappearance along Highway 26 between Wasaga Beach and Collingwood.

Police say the billboard should serve as a reminder that the missing person investigation is active, ongoing and will continue until officers can confirm Coleman's whereabouts.

It's hoped the billboard will help jog someone's memory and witnesses will come forward with information to help solve Coleman's disappearance.

Kelly is described as 5’4”, 130 lbs., brown hair, green eyes and poor teeth.

Anyone with information on Coleman's disappearance is asked to contact the OPP Criminal Investigation Services at 1-888-310-1122 or 705-329-6111 or call Crime Stoppers.
