ORILLIA – It was Tuesday, November 24, 2015, around 4 p.m. in the afternoon and Constable Marcus Lee was on duty patrolling in the City of Orillia.

He observed a young boy playing in the front yard of his Matchedash Street home who appeared to be in need of assistance.

The officer parked his cruiser and went to help.

There was still some snow left on the ground, the kind of snow that is good for making a snowman.

The big ball of snow was just too heavy for the young child to move so Constable Lee helped him roll it in to place.

Little did the officer know that the boy’s mom captured pictures of the friendly deed and posted them on social media.

This positive friendly interaction between boy and man quickly snowballed!

Pun intended.
