ORILLIA - On Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 between the hours of 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. the Orillia detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Safety Office (CSO) and Auxiliary Unit will partnering with Metro Foods Grocery store and hosting a food drive. The drive is in benefit of The Sharing Place Food Bank in Orillia.
The food drive will take place at the Metro grocery store located at 70 Front Street North in Orillia. The OPP and Metro are requesting donations of non-perishable items or canned goods.
There will be non-perishable items pre-packaged available for purchase at Metro. All donations will be brought to The Sharing Place Food Bank in Orillia.
If you are unable to attend the food drive and want to make a difference in someone's life this holiday season you can donate to The Sharing Place Food Bank which is located at 22 West Street South.
