ANN HOGARTH, BARRIE MPP

Barrie MPP Ann Hoggarth has been named the Parliamentary Assistant to Dr. Helena Jaczek, Minister of Community and Social Services.
“I’m excited to begin my new role, and ready to assist Minister Jaczek in helping improve the lives of Ontarians,” MPP Hoggarth said. “I also look forward to working closely with local community groups and service organizations, and continuing to serve the people of Barrie.”
The Ministry of Community and Social Services provides income and employment supports, as well as social and community services. The ministry also funds programs for people with special needs, the homeless, and victims of domestic violence.
MPP Hoggarth had previously been parliamentary assistant to Kevin Flynn, the Minister of Labour, a role that saw her plan and coordinate an ongoing review of health and safety policies and procedures.
