BRADFORD - On Thursday, June 30, 2016 a Bradford woman attended the South Simcoe Police station to report that she had been assaulted by her husband.
The victim provided information regarding the assault that had occurred a couple weeks earlier.
As police were taking the report, the woman's husband also attended the police station to file a missing persons report regarding his wife.
The man was arrested by police without incident.
A 54-year-old Bradford man is charged with assault.
He was released from custody on conditions and will appear in court at a later date.
