On Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at 9:30 p.m., police responded to a robbery at Mac’s Convenience located at corner of Anne Street, North and Janice Drive, in the City of Barrie.
The suspect entered the store armed with a knife demanding money.
The employee refused to comply with the demand and the suspect fled store.
Police located the suspect ten minutes later on Sunnidale Road.
The 37-year-old Barrie male was arrested and charged with robbery and will appear in bail court Wednesday morning.
