We are pleased to inform you about the upcoming regional convention of Jehovah's Witnesses at the Barrie Molson Centre, July 15-17, 2016.

This free public event will be attended by approximately 3,700 delegates from all across Central Ontario.

Regional conventions are held worldwide every year. However, this is the first one of its kind to be held in Barrie.

Of course, a convention of this size brings obvious benefits to the local economy, but it benefits the community in other ways as well.

The theme this year is 'Remain Loyal to Jehovah'. The 3-day event will feature 49 presentations, each exploring the theme of loyalty. Loyalty is a crucial part of any healthy relationship.

This convention focuses on content that will help all attendees to develop stronger bonds with friends, family members and above all, God.

Numerous video segments and two feature films will be shown on large screens to greatly enhance this uplifting learning experience. '

The water baptism on Saturday is a highlight that many people find particularly joyful.

Local congregations will be distributing a special invitation to the public welcoming them to attend this free program. Journalists that wish to attend or receive more information, may contact the media services representative in their area.
