AWARE Oro-Medonte will continue its speaker series focusing on groundwater.

The next event will be held Sunday, Nov. 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Carriage Hills Resort. The topic is: The Oro Moraine: Is it sustainable as our primary water resource?

Guest speaker Mike Jones is a hydrogeologist and a founding member of Azimuth Environmental, a Barrie consulting company.

Azimuth completed the initial hydrogeology and ecology study associated with the Oro Moraine and OPA 16 for the Township of Oro-Medonte. They are environmental consultants to provincial and municipal governments and private corporations and continue to be active on projects within our area.

He will speak in the Stanhope Building at the resort. The address is 90 Highland Dr.
