Interpol is helping Canadian authorities in the hunt for a fugitive alleged drug dealer from Innisfil.

Wojciech Joseph Grzesiowski, 40, is one of more than a dozen suspects charged in November in a major RCMP led joint forces investigation into organized crime and fentanyl trafficking, dubbed Project Otremens.

At a news conference to announce the arrests, officials said they had 'directly infiltrated Traditional Organized Crime at its highest level.'  Police said undercover operations during the project saw officers purchase 6 kilograms of fentanyl and carfentanil over 6 transactions.

An Interpol Red Notice is a request to seek the 'location and arrest of wanted persons with a view to extradition or similar lawful action.'

Grzesiowsk is wanted on five counts of instructing commission of offence for criminal organization, seven counts of commission of offence for criminal organization, five counts of trafficking in substance, three counts of possession of property obtained by crime and two counts of possession for purpose of trafficking.

The Polish-born fugitive is described by Interpol as being 1.8 metres tall, weighing 90 kg, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
