Barrie MPP Ann Hoggarth is letting the Premier do the talking in the case of the resignation of  P.C. Leader Patrick Brown.

At a funding announcement, today, at the Simcoe County District School Board offices, Hoggarth was asked for a comment on the issue.

She said, "I think the Premier (Kathleen Wynne) made a good comment last week and I don't think I'll comment any further".

Hoggarth added, "It's very important for everyone to feel safe in the workplace and I agree with the Premier wholeheartedly".

Patrick Brown stepped down as leader of the Progressive Conservatives, last week amid allegations of sexual misconduct were raised by two women.

Brown has denied the allegations.

At the time Premier Kathleen Wynne expressed "shock" about the allegations and said that "sexual harassment is never okay".
