Parisienne Bakery at Friday Harbour Resort hosts the inaugural Holiday High Tea in support of Ovarian Cancer Canada.
Now through to Saturday, Dec. 24, community members can experience an authentic holiday high tea while contributing to changing the course of a disease that claims the lives of five Canadian women every day.
Patrons will enjoy an authentic high (full) tea including sandwiches, quiches or croissants, cheese scones with jam and butter, assorted sweets, macarons, cookies, whipped cream, assorted fruit juice for two and special Christmas cookies. Macaron gift sets will also be for sale. A portion of proceeds from each tea and macaron set sold will be donated to Ovarian Cancer Canada. Guests will also receive a keepsake teal ribbon lapel pin.
In 2022, community-led fundraising events have raised almost $500,000 to further progress against ovarian cancer. Funds raised support vital lifelines, groundbreaking research initiatives and provide hope to women living with and at risk of ovarian cancer.
The Holiday High Tea can be booked online at parisiennebakery.ca. The event runs from Dec. 10 to 24 at Parisienne Bakery, 307 Sunseeker Ave., Unit R28, Innisfil, Friday Harbour Resort.
