GUITARS FOR VETS

Veterans Emergency Transition Services Canada (VETS Canada) is pleased to report that Fred's Rock n Roll Matinee Charity Series' Guitars for Vets event was a huge success and certainly exceeded expectations.
It took place on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at The Queens Hometown Bar in Barrie, featuring local favourites The Fred Giant Squares plus a great line up of special guests and performers.
A total of $3,504 was raised plus instruments and equipment donated to help veteran and first-line responders suffering from PSTD.
Guitars for Vets matches veterans and first-line res-ponders with PTSD or other service related disabilities with a new or gently used guitar plus lessons.
