Georgian Kodiaks impress at weekend tournament

BEAVERCREEK, OHIO - In the Kodiaks’ second tournament of the season, Joshua Bautista, Lucas Holland and Karley Foster led the Kodiaks to a 13th place finish in the qualifying and final round of the Orange and Black Classic over the weekend.

Bautista threw the best individual game of the entire round with a 268 in game three. Averaging 201.6, he earned a 12th spot in the individual side.

Holland averaged 190.4 with a high game of 246 in game two earning a 39th position in individual standings. Foster, the team captain, placed 52nd in a field of 412 with high games of 223-212, averaging 186.2.

The Kodiaks started day two of the bakers with a solid opening set and high games throughout the bakers of 235-202-198-194-192,  keeping them 13th overall at the completion of the Orange and Black Tournament.

Up next

The bowling team will have a competition-free week before heading to Lockport, NY to compete in the first Canadian Maple Classic tournament on Oct. 27-28.
