Georgian Drive has been closed in Barrie's north end following what city police are calling a "very serious" single-vehicle rollover.
Shortly before 10 p.m., Barrie police reported that Georgian Drive is closed near the main driveway into Georgian College.
Greg Bruce, with Simcoe County Paramedic Services, told BarrieToday they transported a male and a female to nearby Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH), which is also located on Georgian Drive.
The male had minor injuries, while the female's injuries were considered life-threatening, Bruce said.
Police say the closure will remain in effect indefinitely.
City workers have set up barricades in the area.
More information is expected to be released in the morning, according to police.
