Hazards:
Freezing rain with possible ice accretion of 2 to 4 mm, especially over higher terrain.
Timing:
This morning through this afternoon.
Discussion:
A mix of freezing rain, ice pellets and snow will change to rain late this afternoon or early this evening.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. Ice build-up may cause tree branches to break. Utility outages may occur.
