Premier Doug Ford is scheduled to make stops in Barrie and Oro-Medonte today to make an announcement and to visit the area, but the purpose of his visit remains unclear.
Ford will be joined by Deputy Premier Christine Elliott, who is also minister of health, for an announcement at 1 p.m.
Afterwards, Ford will visit a local business north of the city in Oro-Medonte Township around 2:30 p.m. The exact location of the announcement has not yet been released.
