Lane closures, restrictions and shifts will be in place Wednesday on a section of Sophia Street East in downtown Barrie.
Morris Shelswell Excavating and Grading, along with its subcontractors, will require the changes between Bayfield Street and Drury Lane on April 17 from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., subject to weather conditions.
The city says the lane impacts are necessary to decommission existing underground water infrastructure, which is associated with the upcoming development at 115 Bayfield St.
