Innisfil residents are invited to attend the annual Community Remembrance Day Service being held on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017 in front of the Town memorial at Innisfil Town Hall (located at 2101 Innisfil Beach Rd., Innisfil). The Service will begin at 10:45 a.m.

“We would like to invite all members of the community to join us as we gather for Remembrance services at Town Hall and at other locations in Innisfil,” said Innisfil Deputy Mayor Lynn Dollin. “It’s my hope that all residents will take a moment to pause and honour the sacrifices of our veterans in the service of our country and give thanks to the commitment of current members of our Canadian Forces who are making sacrifices today in the name of peace, freedom and democracy.”

The annual Remembrance Day Service provides an opportunity for all Innisfil residents to pause and reflect on the role that Innisfil’s citizens have played in protecting and preserving Canada’s freedoms in times of war, conflict and peace. The event is being organized through the hard work of the Innisfil Remembrance Day Committee.
