Oro-Medonte Fire & Emergency Services responded to a garage fully engulfed in flames on Hawthorne Place just before 1 p.m., Monday.
"This afternoon we got paged out for a fully engulfed garage fire. Four stations responded to it," said acting deputy chief, Donny Adamson.
"On arrival, the garage was starting to collapse. Luckily, it was a detached garage with no extension to the house, and no civilians or firefighters were injured," he added.
Adamson says it's not yet known what caused the fire.
The investigation is ongoing.
