Business leaders, wellness and human resource professionals are invited to join us on April 28 between 10 and 11 a.m. for advice, guidance and best practices for supporting the mental health and wellness of yourself and your employees.
Experts Liz Grummett and Sandy Kriegish will provide insights on ways that leaders can keep their employees, themselves and their businesses active and healthy. Topics include:
- The importance of mental health and how it affects your business — the impact of COVID-19
- Identifying stress triggers and signs of burnout
- How to manage stress and anxiety — how to take care of yourself and others
- Where to go for help — resources, tools and apps
- What have the last two years done to mental health?
- How to improve your mental health according to science
- How to help those around you who are struggling
The virtual Ask an Expert speaker series event will take place April 28 from 10 to 11 a.m. Details will be provided upon registration.

About the Speakers
Liz Grummett, Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA)
Liz Grummett is part of the fundraising and communication team at CMHA Simcoe County branch. Liz has been part of CMHA Simcoe County for over 20 years working across a variety of settings including case management, crisis intervention, outreach support, education, and fundraising. Liz enjoys connecting with her community in both a professional capacity and through a variety of volunteer roles. Liz recognizes the value and importance of maintaining an open mind and having an empathic approach when connecting with others.
Sandy Kriegish, Homewood Health
Sandy Kriegish joined Homewood Health in August of 2008 as a clinical manager and senior account executive. She has a master’s degree in educational psychology, a bachelor’s degree in communication, and over 30 years of experience in the field. She is an experienced trainer and does consultations with managers and senior leaders regarding conflict, communication, managing change and stress, team building, harassment, workplace violence, coaching skills for managers, performance and behavioural issues, and many other topics.
