Cops say booze burglar could have hit same location earlier

The Barrie Police has received video surveillance and are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect responsible for a break and enter at Pie Wood Fired Pizza, located at 11 Victoria Street, Barrie, on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016 at 4:45 a.m.

The suspect gained entry into the building by throwing a large rock through the front door, shattering the glass.

The suspect immediately ran to the bar area and removed several bottles of liquor and fled through the same door he gained entry through.

Police believe this suspect may be responsible for the break and enter and theft that occurred on Friday, Aug. 5, 2016 at 2:25 a.m. at the same location. Click here for to view previous occurrence.

The investigation is ongoing.

The suspect is described as;

  • Male, white (20-30 yrs.)
  • 5’7-6’0”, slender build
  • Dark hair and thin beard
  • Wearing a balaclava on the top of his head, light coloured jacket and jogging pants, dark tall boots and carrying a black bag.
