On Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 8:20 a.m. police received a call from a concerned citizen who had just observed a male protect his hand and punch in a car window at 28 Essa Road, in the city of Barrie.

Police quickly arrived on scene and located a male matching the description provided by the witness standing beside the broken window yelling in anger, then throwing a snow brush through the window into the car.

The 33-year-old Barrie male allegedly had a beef  with the resident of the house, and felt this was a good way to voice his anger.

He was quickly arrested for mischief under $5,000 and returned to the Barrie Police Service as he was currently bound by a probation order from September 2015 which he was currently breaching.

The male was held for a bail hearing to answer to both charges.
