BRAVADO!

Inspired by “comfy jammies” and fireside sing-alongs, Comfort and Joy, Bravado Show Choir’s winter show takes the audience on a festive musical journey celebrating the warmth, memories and relaxing side of Christmas.
Come in your own comfy pyjamas to enjoy the beginning of the season and start re-creating that cozy Christmas Eve feeling for you and your loved ones.
Comfort and Joy takes place Nov. 29 and 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Collier Street United Church. In addition, the annual children’s matinee on Saturday, Nov. 30 will commence with its popular pre-show fun and crafts starting at 1 p.m. The matinee begins at 2 p.m.
At all of the shows our expert and talented Bravado! Band will keep the Comfort and Joy beat and Bravado! Kids choir will join in for a few numbers.

Building community through music, Bravado! is proud to highlight Glowing Hearts Community Give and Get charity, which provides clothing and small household items to the community free of charge. A Glowing Hearts Community Give and Get celebration tree will be located in the Comfort and Joy lobby during the concert. The audience is invited and encouraged to bring donations consisting of new socks, hats, mittens and gloves, scarves, hygiene products (travel sizes if possible), new toys, gift cards, and silent auction items. These items can be hung on the celebration tree or placed at its base.
Tickets for the adult show are $25. Tickets for the children’s matinee are $7 for kids 12 and under, $18 for adults, and $45 for a family pack of four tickets. Tickets are available from www.bravadoshowchoir.com/buy-tickets or any choir member.

About Bravado!
Bravado!, Barrie’s show choir, was formed in 1996 with a vision of creating a multi-artistic experience. Under the musical direction of Marianne Derow, the choir continually challenges traditional notions of choral music by layering vocal excellence with the visual appeal of staging and choreography. Bravado! performs all music from memory, getting “off the page” and allowing a more personal connection with their audience. Bravado!’s choral-fusion style transitions fluently from Classical through Gospel, Jazz, and Broadway, to Rock without sacrificing musical excellence.
Bravado! Kids is a show choir for children ages 8 through 14 in the Barrie area. Their mandate is to foster a love of singing, dancing, and performing in a safe and fun environment, allowing participants to master control of their voices while having fun and making new friends. Bravado! Kids will perform pieces on their own as well as joining Bravado! for a few songs.
