Bradford Bypass signs along Highway 400 vanadalized.

If you were driving on Highway 400 near Bradford on Thursday, you would have noticed the 'Future Home of the Bradford Bypass' signs erected in between County Roads 88 and 89 covered in red graffiti.

A spokesperson for the Ministry of Transportation says they were made aware of the vandalized signs and will be removing for cleaning by end of day Saturday, May 28.

The proposed highway project has been a topic of contention over the past few years and has been a hot topic of discussion as of late as provincial election day looms next week.

At this time, there is no information on who the culprit of the vandalism is.
