Business and Professional Women (BPW) Barrie, an organization dedicated to empowering women in Barrie and area since 1946, is pleased to announce the recipients of our 2024 Local Commendation Awards.
These four leaders are positively impacting our community thanks to their selfless dedication to uplifting others using evidence-based solutions:

Barbara White and Mary-Anne Frith, Ripple of Kindness
Shanicka Edwards, Shak’s World
Members of the public are invited to attend a celebratory evening Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the BDAR Hub Community Room, 676 Veterans Dr., Barrie. Doors open at 6 p.m. for refreshments followed by the award presentation and Q&A with recipients at 7 p.m.
This event is free to BPW members and $10 for guests. Space is limited.
