Just letting you know that the boil water advisory for those 14 residents affected in Cookstown is now lifted.

Original Oct. 29 release:
A boil-water advisory is now in effect for all residents in the Cookstown area who live on or east of Highway 27.
The advisory is required by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit following a watermain break on Victoria Street, just east of Highway 27. Municipal crews are on site now.
This is a precautionary measure while the Town of Innisfil and InnServices perform a full investigation, execute repairs and test for bacteria.
The advisory remains in effect until further notice. It will be lifted once the safety of the water has been confirmed by laboratory tests.
The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is responsible for issuing water advisories and as such, the Town of Innisfil and InnServices are working co-operatively with them throughout this process.
Residents should use an alternate water supply or boil their water at a rolling boil for a least one minute before drinking, gargling, brushing teeth or rinsing their mouth; making baby food or formula; washing dishes; washing fruits, vegetable and other food; or making any meals, drink or ice.
